Update

I'm still working on my Mario collection. I'm about 1/3 of the way done with Bowser and I will post the pattern and pics when he's done. I'm a little slow with progress right now, my mother isn't feeling well and I'm worried. Sometimes that makes it hard to concentrate on a new pattern. I am trying though and will post things as I finish them.

Bigger Bob-omb Squad

Here is my bigger, better bob-omb squad. I now have a regular bob-omb, Mayor Fahr, Bruce, Pa-Patch, Jerry Bomb, Bob-ulk, another regular bob-omb, Fahr outpost trader, Bombette, and General White. My son informs me that I have Admiral Bobbery, Luck,  Goldbob, Sylvia, and Goldbob and Sylvia's son Bub-omb left to make. So close to being done and yet so far from being done too. These are all made from the pattern by Woldreamer off the Hook

Lapghan

I'm working on a lapghan today, trying to use some of the yarn that was given to the group I belong to. They are really old yarns, some as old as I am. I'm trying to use as many of the greens as I can in one afghan without it looking like camo puke. I'll post pics when I'm done and let you be the judge.

going a bit crochet crazy

Ok, so I'm working on making a Numel pokemon and its behind keeps coming out HUGE. I finished its head and it looks so cute, I don't want to mess up on the rest. The body has to be done before the  legs so the proportions can be right and then I have to figure out the neck and the green marking (felt or crochet).
This is getting almost as frustrating and trying to make Furret, that one kept coming looking like either a guinea pig or a weird snake creature and it had the most annoying face to make ever.
I think I will take a break for a day and make some baby sweater and blanket sets for my group at church, I haven't made anything for Design's for Life in a while. Maybe I can make some quick little lap afghans too. The ladies let me have a ton of yarn and I should probably do something with it soon, our next meeting is coming up in less than 2 weeks. I made a few kits for the others if they want them but I haven't made anything myself. So, I'll take a day off from Numel and make a lap afghan or baby set.

Popcorn afghan

Here's and afghan I made for my kids to snuggle under while watching movies. I thought it would be cute to make it look like a bag of popcorn. I made another to donate to the school for their next fundraiser, I put it in an actual popcorn bucket along with some candy shaped pillows. The afghan is very simple, its just rows of double crochet and then turned and  popcorn stitches at the top.

Hippopotas

I tried making a Hippopotas, but the spots were weird and hard to do. I will try to write out a pattern, but the spots are all free form.

Cuddlies

I found these wonderful patterns by Pixelated Mushroom here http://pixelatedmushroom.blogspot.com/search/label/doctor_who and used them to make the Crew of the Serenity from TVs Firefly, Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and David Tennant from Doctor Who. I plan on finishing the rest of the cast from Firefly and maybe some more characters from Buffy , and of course making more Doctor Who and friends.

1. Work 5 double crochet (dc) stitches in the same stitch.

3. Insert your hook from front to back under the top 2 loops of the first double crochet of the group.
4. Grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through the stitch.

My blue period

My kids and I were looking at the pokemon that I have posted the patterns to and noticed that they are all blue and I have another blue to write the pattern out for, Wailmer. I am now going through my to do list and trying to find a non-blue pokemon to create. I have made a Foongus but the patterns was weird and I'm not sure I could write it out, I will however post a photo just so there's something on my blog that isn't blue. I found a free pattern online at:
