Assembly
Attach head to top of mouth. It will be easier to attach the felt eyes and teeth, and the horns now rather than when the head and body are attached.
Attach belly plate to body (I know I didn't but it will make leg placement easier), then attach legs to sides so they just touch the edge of the belly plate.
Attach head to body as pictured
Attach the tail to the back just 4 rows from the beginning ring, so it tilts down just a tiny bit (this helps him to stand)
I attached the spikes to the shell after I attached the shell to the body but you can attach the spikes first.
Attach shell to body as pictured
Attach arms to sides of body placing the shoulders under the white band of the shell (I sewed the white band to the arm to make the curve look better)
Attach hair to head starting at the bottom and working your way up with medium hair 1 at the bottom center, 2 in the middle side by side, and 1 at the top middle, place the 2 small hairs above the top at an angle as pictured.
Cut claws from felt and sew 4 to each hand and 3 to each foot.
Spiked bracelets and collar can be cut from felt or crocheted chains with white spots for the spikes.

  7. Hi Nanette I love your blog. I have done several of your patterns. Just finish Bowser for my grandson's birthday. Can wait to give it to him. My family goes crazy with the Mario family. The only problem is that I will have to do to many of them. I have 3 grand kids and to adult sons that want all of them. So am crocheting like crazy. Thank you for sharing your talent. Take care and God Bless.

    1. Use the "TRANSLATE" box at the top of the page to translate to spanish. I don't know spanish well enough to do a translation on my own. I learned some over 20 years ago and have forgotten most of it.
