Trapinch now with pattern





Trapinch

Materials
dark orange ( I used red heart carrot), small amounts of off white and black yarn
H hook
fiber fill
needle and thread



Head in carrot
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rnd 7: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (42)
Rnd 8 - 12: sc in each sc around (42)
Rnd 13: sc in next 5 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (36)
Rnd 14: sc in next 4 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (30)
Rnd 15: sc in next 3 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (24)
Rnd 16: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (18)
Begin stuffing about this point if you haven't done so already.
Rnd 17: sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc around (12)
Rnd 18: dec over next 2 sc around (6)
F/O leaving tail, add any stuffing to finish filling out the head. Weave the tail through the last round worked and pull to close.

Body in carrot
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rnd 7- 12: sc in each sc around (36)
Rnd 13: sc in next 4 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (30)
Rnd 14: sc in next 3 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (24)
Rnd 15: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (18)
Begin stuffing about this point if you haven't done so already.
Rnd 16: sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc around (12)
Rnd 17: dec over next 2 sc around (6)

Legs in carrot (make 4)
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: working in back loops only sc in each sc around (6)
Rnd 3 - 5: working through both loops again sc in each sc around (6)
Rnd 6: sc in next 3 sc, leav last 3 sc unworked (this makes a shoulder shape) (3)
F/O stuff moderately

Belly spot in cream
Row 1: ch 11, sc in second ch from hook and in each across, turn (10)
Row 2 - 8: sc in each sc across, do not turn (10)
Row 9: sc in end on each row, at the corner ch 7, skip first 3 sc of beginning row, sc in next 3 sc, chain 7, skip last 4 sc in beginning row, sc in the ends of rows, at the corner ch 7, skip next 4 sc, sc in next 3 sc, ch 7, skip next 3 sc, sl in first sc or Row 9

Assembly
Attach legs to body first or the belly spot wont work.
Belly spot is fitted with the legs through the ch holes and sewn on to the body.
Attach head to body (I wrapped yarn around a couple of time to give the appearance of a neck, you do not need to do this)
All detail of face and neck are straight stitched on
