Mudkip Pattern

worsted weight yarn in light blue, medium blue and gold
black felt
H hook
fiber fill
needle and thread



HEAD:
Medium Blue
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rnd 7: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (42)
Rnd 8: sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (48)

F/O leave long tail for sewing, Sew 2 together matching rows.

Assembly
Lower jaws is sewn to head from row 12 to row 20.
Sew small cheek fin/gill parts to sides of large Fin/Gill parts. Attach cheek fin/gills to cheek circles. Cheek circles are sewn overlapping lower jaw as pictured.
Top fin is attached to head as pictured
Attach head to body lining the bottom of the lower jaw to the body so belly stripe will line up. Sew belly stripe to body and bottom of lower jaw as shown.
Attack legs using shoulder and hip flaps to angle them slightly. Sew tail fin as shown
Straight stitch fin lines on top fin and tail fin through all layers
Straight stitch nostrils on face, eyes are made from felt with a white french knot (white felt can be used instead)
