Marill Pattern

Marill

Materials
Medium blue, white and black yarn
Black and red felt
H hook
needle and thread





Body in medium blue
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)
Rnd 7: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (42)
Rnds 8-14: sc in each sc around,
Rnd 15: sc in next 5 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (36)
Rnd 16: sc in next 4 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (30)
Begin stuffing at this point, continue stuffing as you progress.
Rnd 17: sc in next 3 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (24)
Rnd 18: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (18)
Rnd 19: sc in next sc,  dec over next 2 sc around  (12)
Rnd 20: dec in next 2 sc around (6)
F/O leaving a long tail. Add any stuffing needed to finish out the shape, weave the tail through the last round and pull to close. Weave in ends.

 Arms in medium blue (make 2)
Rnd 1:  6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (9)
Rnds 3-5: sc in each sc around (9)
F/O leaving a long tail. Add light stuffing

 Feet in medium blue (make 2)
Rnd 1:  6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (9)
Rnd 3: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (12)
Rnds 4-6: sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 7: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (9)
F/O and flatten DO Not STuff

Ears in medium blue (make 2) (do not join rounds, this will be turned)
Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic ring, do not join, ch 1 turn(4sc, 1 ch)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around, ch 1 turn (8 sc, 1 ch)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (12)
F/O

 Tail ball in medium blue
Rnd 1:  6 sc in magic ring  (6)
Rnd 2:  2 sc in each sc around  (12)
Rnd 3:  sc in next sc,  2 sc in next sc around  (18)
Rnd 4-6:  sc in each sc around  (18)
Begin stuffing here.  Shape as you go,  continue stuffing as you progress.
Rnd 7:  sc in next sc,  dec over next 2 sc around  (12)
Rnd 8:  dec over next 2 sc around  (6)
F/O.  Add any stuffing needed to finish the shape.  Just before you tug up the opening,  insert the other end of the tail,  pull tails to close opening and using yarn needle,  secure the opening and end of tail.  Weave in the loose end.

Tail in black
row 1: chain 30
row 2: turn, chain 1, 3 sc in each sc across (90)
F/O this should be a curly black cord now.

Belly spot in white
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)

Assembly
using photo as a guide attach first the belly spot, then feet, then arms.
Attach red felt to ears and then ears to body
Attach black tail piece to tail ball and then other black end to body.
Eyes are cut from felt and the nose and mouth are stitched on.
